Being in the same position, is there a new phone that could conceivably be good enough to make you change, or would simply wait until in doesn’t work any longer? Now that I’ve got used to spending £45 a month on something else, I’m in with the latter! |

At the moment it’s looking like it will be with me until it dies. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

So many parts now available. Your iPhone won’t really die as such you’ll rebuild a new one eventually. Lost count how many times I’ve taken my 6 Plus apart. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Just ordered wifey an iPhone 8. She's had my cast off 6 for a while now and would like a girly gold one so I’m going to sell it on while I can still get around the £150 mark. I always buy sim free and they were £699 in the Apple store and Carphone warehouse, £659 in Arguuus and John Lewis. John Lewis electrical goods including this phone come with an extra years guarantee so bought from them. Just ordered it, picking it up from my local Waitrose tomorrow. I did suggest she tried one of those new Galaxy S9 phones but she just wants to stick with the iPhone. I might try a Samsung something or other when I next update. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
