New keyfob - Programming

Not sure if everyone knows but instead of paying £45 +vat (price from my local indy) or more to have a new keyfob programmed i've just had 1 done by the AA Thumbs Up - took all of 5 mins to do where the indy couldn't fit me in for 3 weeks to do it?

Not sure how much the AA charge as dealer sorted mine but i guess if you're a member it wont be much?
