United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey
Got my car back today!

After spending 3 days at the dealers I got got the car back this morning, and what an amazing difference!

It has had a new clutch and thrust bearing, the heater replaced from the re-call, new rear parking sensors due to water ingress and a new ladder rack for the engine, what ever that is!

The clutch had been faulty from day one of owning it, but the supplying dealer put it down to wear and tear, but in my eyes, if it was wear and tear it would slowly get worse, but it doesn't. So the new dealer I used which is part of the same group as the Vauxhall dealer I have used for 18 years took one look and tried it and said, nope, it's faulty like a few early cars, and it will be replaced under warranty.

On the service, they reported a very slight oil leak, and it was apparently the engine's ladder rack, so this was replaced.

The rear parking sensors go nuts when it rains, they removed them and found water ingress, so these were replaced. Finally the heater recall was completed.

A fantastic job, and it drives so much better, I did'nt realise until now how bad the orignal clutch was! Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........
