Tight northerners DAB

I decided I needed some in ear entertainment while walking the dog, so i bought a small DAB radio, a little like the old Walkman but only 1/2" thick, 4 1/2" tall, works great on DAB and FM. Thought i would give it a try in the car so plugged it into the Auxiliary and it works a treat! I only listen to 3 channels on DAB, they come through crisp and clear all for the massive price of £27 delivered.

Quick spec: Built in speaker, earphone socket, USB charging port, retractable antenna, built in battery that holds a charge for 9hrs earphone or 6hrs on the speaker. REME .. Rough Engineering Made Easy

have you tried the DAB 'roving' also ? I'm assuming your test was 'static' whilst parked.

what was the make and where from ?

Not static, had to go out so had a nice drive round with it and as I said, crisp and clear, sat it on the passenger seat with the antenna extended, now I know it works I will find a more suitable place for it. Only item I needed that was not supplied is a 3.5mm plug to 3.5mm plug for the auxiliary socket.

Make and model: Majority Romsey .. either search on ebay (Cheapest I found there was £27 rising up to silly money!) or majorityradios.co.uk for £27-ish

Also has a 3 year warranty too! REME .. Rough Engineering Made Easy

Hi Tom, I'm usually on my own when I have the DAB on so I either slot it under the sunvisor or between the sunroof channel and glass with antenna extended, still sounding great. REME .. Rough Engineering Made Easy

Hi Lunar
please forgive the seemingly daft question but I've looked all over the radio sat nav area, where is the aux port for the jack for your DAB radio connection? I can see the aux button which changes it from radio to aux for example. But can't fseem to ind the hole Embarassed
