Hi all, done the search and found nothing, book is waste of space so here goes, jumped in, started up and noticed nothing illuminated on Terrain Response (reddish usually ), tried pressing buttons but nothing lighting up so pressed HDC to see if that came on screen, nothing!! pressed DSC and same... nothing!! worried now, any input gratefully received. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

Cheers Steve, not getting any messages up that's the problem so bit confused, been looking on here to see if there's a fuse somewhere I need to check but nothing as I can find so baffled as car seems ok to drive, starts first time and like I said there are no error messages coming up. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

Could be worth putting a test meter on the battery to check the voltage - Halfords, etc should do a free battery check if you don't have 1 to hand |

I got a Ceetek about 6 months ago and it seems to perform miracles in "regen" mode. Very impressed with how it works, but I guess that when the battery is on its way it is best to replace it

As the test said: Battery capacity was OK. The reading shows a measured capacity of 661 amps, which is not far short of the specified max. of 700 amps.

Thanks all, at a total loss with this amps and volts stuff. So many CTeks about and the like, should I go for the higher numbered ones ? eg. Ctek have a 5, 7, and 10 so which would do me please? If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

With regard to the Ceetek, it rather depends what types and size of battery you will want to use it for. I have an MXS-5 which is fine for most car and motorcycle batteries (1.2 - 110 Amp hour) |

Just the FR2. still get my head around why everything seems ok apart from terrain response. hdc & dsc would the battery being a tad low cause these not to work? if so pretty bad design eh?
