Ok, I have searched but couldn’t find a answer.
With the MY13 onwards, I was told from the non Land Rover garage I bought it from that the service records are kept electronically an non longer on the service book.
How are people keeping proof of their services?

google LR OSH and you need to register so you can see it on line, think that what I done anyways  If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

I’ve just tried the LR OSH site and it returned this:

How do you add service history details if you have it done from an independent?

Can't help there sorry as mine was just there when it loaded, someone on here will know the way though.

also mine haven't been done by indies. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

Thanks for information on On-Line Service History. OSH.

I have registered and looked at my OSH record. It seems an excellent idea, and contains details of past servicing.

However mine is not complete and more to the point differs from the printed read out of the dealers view of the database given to me when I bought the car. Although that dealer print out includes the date, mileage, and invoice numbers of year 1 & 2 Services, my OSH only has the Pre-delivery Check and Service, and the year 3 Service. (All LR)

I have printed off the OSH and will take it in to my (not so ) Local Dealer, to see if they can bring it up to date. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 79k+ miles) (MY2015)
Metro in its 11th Year of (Extended) LR Warranty / Full LR Service History
(Expensive, but Trouble/Worry free - hopefully?)

Is this an age of vehicle thing? Or is it something to do with mine seeming to have avoided dealers from new?.

Thanks, my service book has some signatures and stamps, but no real detail. There are a few receipts in with it which are interesting but not necessarily enlightening, leaving a few unanswered questions. Like why would it have two MOT passes in the one month? And why did they replace the tyres twice only a few months apart (there is a tracking print-out, so perhaps there was something far wrong that quickly wore a set out)?

Certainly worth checking OSH if your vehicle is new enough. As with the service book, dealers can forget to record the service. happened to me with OSH and service book.
My first FL2 had a service book with the wrong reg. number, as it had been on a private plate. The second one had OSH, but I was able to download a "duplicate" service book from TOPIx, into which I stapled all my receipts. Don't know if you can still do that. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

Unable to order a new DS, so gave up. Now have a Volvo S90 Recharge.

Lonall, after a quick look round the site, it seems you can upload service details from independents on it. I’ll chase this down tomorrow and see what happens.

on my online record for a 2013my supplied and serviced by Stradstones since new , the record is incomplete having 2 services only recorded in the service record book. When I queried this with Stradstones I was told they could not retrospectively add the services although they had the records. Perhaps I need to chase this up but who with?

Ive updated my post here to avoid confusion.

As there is no service book anymore for newer vehicles, you dont have anything to record servicing except the OSH and not all independents can/will update onto the OSH.
You can update the OSH yourself

Login to your OSH at https://osh.landrover.com/login?logout
with your email address and password
click "MY VEHICLES" then click a or b
a)click "SERVICE INFORMATION" to be able to print out a service sheet for the service specified on the "SERVICE TYPE" drop down
b)click "VIEW SERVICE HISTORY"
click "ADD NON-LANDROVER SERVICE"
complete the "SERVICE PROVIDER" boxes then click CONTINUE
complete the service boxes then click SUBMIT
You can then upload photos taken during service and of receipts

I suppose you can fill in downloadable Freelander service schedule sheets too if you want, keep receipts and also take photos (with dates displayed) as proof of servicing. Jules
