We have had our Swift Challenger Sport for just under 6 years from new. On this model there is a 6 year body integrity warranty, basically preventing damage by water ingress. Last year we noticed some slight mould at the front shelf under one of the front windows. Supplying dealer (who we have since found out is no longer Swift approved) changed a window seal and claimed to have cured it. This season the damp patch had got significantly worse and I took it to a different Swift dealer. Have to say they were superb, and although not supplying the caravan contacted Swift and arranged and carried out all the repair work to as new standard.
While having the van they carried out a full body shell check and noted some small cracks in the rear panel which was just starting to lead to water ingress at the back. The have been given authority by Swift to replace the entire rear panel under warranty, which involves major stripping out and re fitting. So glad that it was noted 2 months before the warranty expires.

That sounds like brilliant service to me, most unusual in the caravan dealer world.

Most helpful advice and just in the nick of time. Tomorrow I head out to buy a 2014 Swift Challenger Sport 564 so will be asking about warranty and having a more detailed look than I had previously. BTW LPC is just around the corner from me although I’m off to Newry caravans as they have the model I had been after.

Other than those problems ours has been excellent. I am so impressed how well the Sd4 tows the big twin axle. Enjoy your new purchase. Maybe see you on a caravan site nearby this season
