Interior lights fuse

Hi

Went to change my bulbs to LEDs and it was recommended to take out

F57 10 Battery saver circuits. Vanity mirror lamp. Glove box lamp. Upper console lamp

But the lights were still on! any suggestions?

Thanks

Dont mess around for a vanity effect as others have found bulb changes to leds ended in tears. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Thanks, I did read a few stories but wanted to change the one in the boot to something a bit brighter.

You could piggy back off the boot light and add an extra light at the other side of the boot. Exclamation

Or just buy a head torch for next to no £s Whistle FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

I recently changed all the interior lamps (including both vanity lamps) to LED’s bought from PowerfullUK and had no problems at all.
If anything the main overhead console is too bright now so I leave it off unless specifically needed for reading. I find the rear roof console light gives ample cabin illumination on its own.
I’ve also changed the door mirror puddle lamps for their LED versions, but that was a bit more fiddly requiring some soldering.
The LED in the boot area is superb, I could hardly see anything with the old bulb. Derek Hill

Old thread but reviving as I've just searched for this topic, and have exactly the same question.

Stoney never seemed to get an answer to this - any advice, anyone?

I want to switch out my interior bulbs for LEDs, I've bought a good quality Canbus error free set but would like to remove the right fuse(s) before I swap them all out.

Which fuse do I remove? Handbook suggests F57 in the passenger footwell fuse box, but I removed it and interior lights all stayed on??

Sorry, should have added - my FL2 is a MY2013 XS with Hi-ICE. Any advice appreciated. Cheers!
