'D Pillar' connector on Loom | |
Just been investigating the 'D Pillar' interior trim removal.
There is a chunky loom running up the interior of the N/S D pillar, between the tailgate and the fixed quarter window. On that loom, high towards the roof, is a hanging female connector, white in colour, its a flat three pin clench locking type, although only two pins are wired.
I've had the vehicle for two years and very thing works ........... so what is this connector for ? Mine is a GS model, could it be for a option on higher spec vehicles. Its too high to be for anything that is hidden behind the 'below window interior side panels'.
The fixed quarter window has a press stud on the glass but no connection to it. Could this connector and the press stud be related ??

Yes I thought that.
My radio has a button marked 'FM (in big letters) Digital (in smaller letters underneath)'
When pressed it alternates between FM1 and FM2 ...... but NO .... Digital. So I assume I don't have DAB. Not that I miss it as its a poor quality mobile medium.
