Ugliest cars

With all the laughter at the expense of the Discovery 5’s rear end lately, I wondered who the main contenders would be when it comes to ugly cars.

For your consideration, the SsangYong Rodius:

The Nissan Juke looks like it was tipped out of a jelly mould before it was quite set and its appearance owes more to the effect of gravity than design.

I unwittingly hired a juke in Austria.the suitcase wouldn't fit on the boot and the car would hardly climb the alpine hills.

That makes some sense now, it would certainly look better with the bottom half submerged under water Wink

I’m going to stand up for the ugly and original Thumbs Up The cube was like no other car before it, or since and the designer and manufacturer deserve respect for having the ⚽️ ⚽️ to put it into production. The Juke was completely new and turned car design on its head, the concept now having been pounced on and improved on with a wonderful looking car from Toyota (who would otherwise continue to churn out pap for the mindless and build another millions Corollas).

To be properly ugly, a car needs to be ugly AND be derivative and dull. Doing all of that and looking like a slit eyed toad from the front seals it; the D5 still does it for me Thumbs Up

Walked past the back of a car in a garden centre car park & thought 'C****t thats ugly' A Cadillac SUV ? no was surprised when I looked up (carrying a load of stuff you see) & it was a D5. But, perhaps it ahead of its time after all the D3 was not universally acclaimed when it came out (& I had one of the first). Thumbs Up

As for the Rodius, it would probably look better two tone, brown over white or something truly horrid, maybe wood panel effect ? FL2 Ex D2, D3, RRS, etc. now all gone.
