I’d be surprised if it wasn’t. I recently had a driveshaft oil seal replace under the extended warranty so oil seals are covered. Just phone up any dealer and ask them. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

i would say it should be covered, the dealer will say that they will charge around £50 + vat for the inspection if its found not to be covered, but I doubt you will have any issues. |

This was picked up at recent service, the technician obviously felt it warranted a mention and videod the leak.
