Recently I successfully managed to wipe out my passenger side powerfold mirror, I have been trying to source a new one without going to the main stealers. Stumbled across a few online but they are the Arabic or us spec. Was just wondering what is the difference between the specs? Or are any of these the same/compatible with uk spec?

The Arabic ones aren't heated (no point) so they have a sand wiper instead to keep them clean
The US ones are 110V region 1 instead of 240V region 2

If you are referring to the ones for sale on Ebay from the seller jlrgenuineparts they also have UK spec ones for sale. It`s worth giving them a call and tell them what you want as they are very helpful and you will get a discount if you buy over the phone rather than going through Ebay. Be aware that the mirrors changed around 2010 and the earlier one is slightly smaller and has more of a curve along its trailing edge. Also I have no connection with the seller but have bought from them before and found them very helpful and had next day delivery for the items I bought.

Also 110v? Thought it was all 12v? Or am I missing a windup or something else?

sorry Trav, just a bit of Monday morning humour (in my warped mind anyway)
US mains voltage is 110v and their DVD are region 1... neither will work in any other country in general terms.

Thought it was, just I can often take a day or so to reboot after the weekend. So just thought I had better double check.
