French Chateaux

Always been interested in a Chateaux holiday - preferably touring rather than setting up in the one location. Is there a website that anyone could recommend? Google search throws up so many that any holiday will be over by the time I've gone through them all
Thanks in advance

Are you hoping to stay in various Chateaux or visit a few?

you could always try the castel camping sites, they often do Gites or log cabins or accomodation in their own chateau

We have used these sites for years and on the whole have been very good and some have exceptional chateaux's

Nice to stop, rather than just visit. Was looking to see if anyone had done the same and could recommend a website that specialised in Chateaux accommodation.

Have visited a couple of Chateaux, not stayed in them. From what I have seen, they were were not a patch on our Stately Homes - rather primitive - still in the “guarderobe” stage, rather than “en Suite”. Would rather travel by car & caravan, then stay in van!
