A week into ownership and so far loving the experience however.. the last few nights I have been forced to use the country lanes as a route home and the car is giving a bit of a wobble at low speeds..

Cruising at 50mph on a dual carriageway the car is perfect, 20mph on a country lane and the car gets a bit wobbly.. hard to describe but sometimes it feels like I'm fighting the wheel.

Any suggestions? could it be the tracking? the car tends to pull a bit right if I let go of the wheel during breaking

My first impressions on getting the FL2 6 weeks ago was the amount of lateral movement I was getting at low speeds - a constant right left rocking that felt as if the left hand side was going over a series of gentle speed bumps. Perhaps I am used to it now, but I no longer notice it. I also got rid of the Scorpions on the front and replaced them with a couple of Quatracs, which may have helped.

Looking up the receipts that came with the car, the Scorpions went on 18 months ago and the two on the front were well worn in only 18,000 miles. 2005 D3 2.7 Auto

Thanks, I am hoping Its normal and I will get used to it. The steering is so light in comparison from previous cars. doesn't help that I gone from an Audi A1 to this so size is a bit different!

Have you checked the obvious - tyre pressures? Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

18" wheels are 32 psi all round. The pressure doesn't change with the car loaded.

Should be on a plate on the drivers door pillar.

Having driven a few FL2s I think it's something you get used to. Whenever I drive my wife's Peugeot 207 (or certainly my son's Porsche 911) it feels a lot more precise than an FL2 going around corners. My wife often says that with the FL2 you coax it around the corners rather than drive it. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Definitely a different ride than I am used too! I cant get over how light the steering is for such a big car.
