Hi Everyone,

I am based in Prevessin Moens, France, just on the border beside Geneva.

As a Land Rover FR 2 owner, and amateur when it comes to mechanics (but very willing to get my hands dirty), I am looking to meet other LR owners who can help me identify some issues that I am having with the car.

I would prefer to identify the cause with a LR owner, than have to go through the hassle of working with the local mechanics.

I have read quite many threads relating to this issue.

I have some wheel noise coming from the rear tyre. But I am unsure if this is just regular tyre noise or its a bearing or diff issue. Having not sat in any other Freelander 2 to compare it would be great if the next time you are around Richard Geneva, I would love to meet up and see what you think.

I have lifted the tyres up and give them a wiggle, but no movement. So I am not sure about the bearings, but as I said I am no expert. The noise is not overwhelming, just niggling in my head.

I managed to find a 4x4 garage in crozet, and long behold he was a Land Rover enthusiast. Nice guy and felt comfortable to not have to take my fl 2 to be serviced at the much more expensive LR Garage in Annemasse.

That noise will be down to tyre wear. Tattoos - Why would you choose to look like the wall of a public toilet?
