front parking sensors

hi all.my parking sensors have never worked since i bought the car.managed to pick up a second hand code reader from ebay and gave it a go just now.its throwing up a code for all 4 sensors.would this be a wiring fault or would all 4 sensors need changing?

The four sensors are individual items that plug into a loom. The loom has a connector that plugs into the main car loom. I'd start looking at the connector first and then the loom behind the bumper. I know from experience on the rear bumper that if a wire from the plug is not making contact or is damaged you will lose all 4 sensors 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

Did you ever resolve your query as I have the same fault and the diagnostic has found that all the front sensors are at fault so I supect the plug to the rear harness , I have been advised this on the n/s front and looks to be under the headlight can anyone confirm this please.

The connector is roughly below the headlight n/s/f. On my car, the whole thing detached itself from the body mounting causing it to fall to the bottom of the bumper, just the other side of the inner wheel splash guard. I think water was getting in there causing me to loose both front and rear sensors.

Thanks for replying , So access is through arch splash guard or under headlight , did that senario result in disabling the rears as well, as that is what’s happening to mine. Just the button light flashes 4 times and no noise, would be helpful if you know that , will save me a lot of hassle with garage I just bought from . Thanks
Pat.

You won't get through via the headlight but may be lucky with splash guard/ inner wheel arch. I was taking my bumper off anyway so fixed my sensor problem at the same time. I had the flashing light but also had a long beep. It did take out the rears at the same time.
