Agreed LR Nut. Very reassuring on snow covered roads with M+S boots on. And what a hoot to drive on snowy fields where the lack of ground clearance is compensated for by lower weight in comparison to a D3/4. Unfortunately we tend to get more by way of bovine brown snow on the roads down here but its also a very capable muck terrain vehicle. |

My boss lives in a house with an uphill lane exiting onto the main road. She was driving a BMW 325d during the last heavy snow a few years back and naturally was stuck. She bought a Freelander after that winter and drove it for 3 years with barely a hint of snow. She then changed it for a 2wd Audi A3, yep she's stuck again! |

Took the FL2 replacement out for a spin today, not literally, quattro and winter tyres, it went everywhere the FL previously went, might struggle if it was deeper, but booting it with 350bhp was fun.

Out today after weekends snow and after reading on here about GGS thought I'd try it getting up from bay to main road... must admit WELL impressed !!!
