I know mate. Unfortunatly ive been screwed over to many times on posting items now. Once sold a macbook on ebay the guy dropped it 10 days after delivery and then claimed it was not as described. Seems to me that paypal always side with the buyer and bank transfers etc are reversable. So i stick with cash on collection now. You see what ya buying with your own eyes and i get money in my pocket.

I will pretty much only sell on here as ive been stung the same way as well a couple of times, and ebay/paypal immediately protected the buyer even though they were being obstructive and not responding. If I was in the market for them id happily jump on the A1 and meet you at South Mimms for that price |

my days of shifts are behind me (I hope!) good while I was on them but only realised once I switched to a day job how much shifts screw you up. |

Understand your concerns Col1nw3bb, but I'd hope if you only sell to someone longstanding reputation on here and ask for paypal you'd be OK. I would not count as I am a newbie, and I am not interested as I just bought some of these new!

so are these still for sale Rob? Picking up my SD4 HSE on Thursday but it has 19" on and does need new tyres. Not sure of any implications/programming changing down a size though? |

no differences to going from genuine 19'' wheels/tyres to genuine 18'' wheels/tyres - straight swap and no issues |

None at all - the 18" wheels will have larger profile tyres to compensate. 19's run on 235/55 and 18's on 235/60, making (within 1%) the same outer rolling diameter. You may find like I did that the 18" wheels actually make the car more stable. With 19's it tended to wander on motorways and similar roads. With the 18's it's much more "planted". (I have had the tracking checked, all good). The 18's are as one would expect also more comfortable, less liable to kerb rash, rock damage etc. |
