As you'll be aware, I've recently bought into the LR life. Mine came from a local Mazda dealership that had taken the car in as p/ex. They serviced it before I took it away but I've now had the service due message appear in the dash. I'm presuming this would have been cleared had it been serviced by a LR dealer so is there any way of clearing it now? It's not that irritating as it seems to disappear upon start up so I suppose I could leave it and have the next service d/w by a LR garage

Thanks Steve - I also found a YouTube clip. The 63 plate has press button stop/start so if I'm reading this correctly, with the ignition on and pedals depressed, it sounds like I'm having to give it full acceleration for 60 secs. That'll please the neighbours Think I'll run it up the common and try it there

I have to say I have never actually done a “ Brazilian” though I will be in a week or so but I think that you do it all without starting the engine

Best way I suppose is to try it Will report back later

Update - when outside, ignition on, bonnet open, door open, both pedals depressed for 60sec . . . . 'service due' message appears to have gone Have since been out to the shops etc and restarted the car several times, still no show, so looks as if it's cleared.

Well it is Halloween

It works just need to put the dislocated hip back in now!! but at least the service message has gone.  If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.
