AM are owned by Pro Drive and have recently made their first profit for years, Pro Drive are linked to Red Bull F1 and AM are a sponsor or supplier as their badge is on the side of the RB car. Pro drive are looking o be an engine supplier to F1 in 2020 providing the new engines fits with AM marketing and will be badged as AM engines, so I think JLR won't buy them perhaps Lotus would be a better bet and revamp Riley or Wolsey as a small car maker with a decent tradition and reputation as BMW killed Rover except for the 75 which was one of the best BMW's BMW never made. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

Not quite right as Pro Drive didn't put any money into the deal. It's actually owned by two Investment companies:-

it has an old style farmyard attraction, Land Rovers of old being synonymous with farms . . . . . . Aston Martins finest DB days were when (DB) David Brown tractors owned them |

Hope it isn't true - I really like the way Aston Martin is going these days but increasingly dislike the way JLR heading. |

Has no one else watched the video when Dr Ralph clearly states this isn't happening?
