I'm moving to Queensland. Conscious of Roo's and feral animals.

A few decades ago I spoke to a truck driver in the outback, what happened to your bull bar, still to this day it would have been one of the heaviest bull bars I have seen. He hit a kangaroo. The kangaroo was turned to minced meat but in the process the bull bar was a mess including a small portion of the truck.
As above. Last year in the back of NSW we didn't drive at dusk or night, except on a few occasions in National Parks coming back late from a few walks, 20 - 30 km/h maximum speed due to the number of kangaroos with all the green grass everywhere. In a previous life I was in the aluminium industry for a few decades. Aluminium is a lot stronger that it is given credit for, but needs to be engineered properly. I also supplied aluminium to a major bull bar manufacturer. The problem you also have with bull bars is connection to the rest of the car & the car as a whole!
