Hello All,

Over the last year, the paint on the side "vent" feature has started to chip/wear away. I was wondering if anyone knew the color paint to touch this up. I can find touch-up pens for the actual vehicle itself, of course, but I have not been able to locate a document that states the shade of silver on the side.

not seen wear like that before

i seem to recall it been sparkle silver, but not 100% sure as thats a wheel colour also Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

The joys of living near the ocean. The salt air makes everything wear at a more rapid pace than normal. Also drive on sand semi-frequently, so that "helps" things along.

Another option is to pop the vent out and spray paint, I suppose. Judging from a couple of videos online, it seems as if the plastic will pop out pretty easily. CAR HISTORY

It's an easy job to pop out and spray paint, look on You Tube for a video

dont waste your time spraying it plenty of cheap used ones on eBay

I have a Fuji white car and painted my side vents black which I think better suits the car

Or just buy a new set off eBay or similar

Standard silver ones are cheap enough and a very quick swap.

I've got a set of 'as new' silver ones lying around if anyone's interested for a few £s. FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-
