Jag lr the TRUTH!!!

Lots of paper talk today. Jag lr looking for guarantees for loans due to credit insurance becoming extortionate. Tata put cash up for new models that are "green" and on the way. That's why they bought us. We are not skint, we export and help uk plc, we spend millions in the uk, we pay taxes, we are hardworking families. What do you prefer? Us to go or long term benefit to the uk? Live your life be free-lander

Paper talk to me is always taken with a pinch of salt

I agree on the credit insurance point,

I recently went into the open insurance market for a rent guarantee policy for a commercial property, and the market has disappeared, before i could have placed the policy with numerous insurance compaines, now there was 2 both with huge premiums which would have written off any rental income Rolling Eyes Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Anyone with any sense, and in this case the government seem to agree with you. We need the manufacturing base in this country. If the US can support their completely shot and consitently loss making car companies I'm sure we can support our normally profitable world beaters.
I would like to UK gov to have a stake though. Not so much that it becomes public but enough so that we can protect LR/Jag when necessary and ensure that production stays in the UK. 07 Freelander 2 TD4SE Tambora Flame, side steps, privacy glass, mud flaps, boot liner and a tow bar. Ok it's the Wifes but she lets me drive it occasionally - if I've been good!
