United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Santorini Black
New Caravan

Hi
I have a 63 plate FL2 and wondering if anyone tows a Sterling Elite 580 or Swift Conqueror 580 MTP LW 1650 kgs.
I don't have any problems with towing as I was raised on a farm but wondered if the 1650 kg is too much for the landy as we go to Spain over a 1000 miles in 3 days.
I tow 1500 kgs at present which is no problem but when it gets hot up to 40 c things are tested.
Thanks for any response
Richard

Scotland 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Mauritius Blue

I pull a Coachman that comes in at 1800kg without any problem at all. (But I have the SD4).

I did tow it with my TD4, and the only problem were hill starts. Updated- Waiting for a Scotland v England 6 Nations home win. 24th Feb 2018
