Just having a query, and hopefully someone can help me What colours did the facelift front top grille come in and why? Is there a special reason some are shiny sliver and some are black?

This is for freelanders from MY13 onwards

Reason I'm asking is I've had a garage replace my grille after an accident and it's not the colour it was before, and they are saying it's the right grille for the car. But they are not a Land Rover garage so I'm just trying to figure which facelifts have which coloured grille but can't find out much information on the internet

Some paint over to a preferred colour so if it a pleasing finish to you I would not worry about it. If it erks go on line to something like autotrader and look at a few. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Having taken your advice and looked on Auto trader I'm even more confused as there looks to be lots of variations in colour of the front grille across different models but looking at the HSE grilles they are shiny sliver, now just to see if I can find any part numbers for the grilles.
