United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e S Manual Barolo Black

I'm the lowly S owner that's bought it! Just had the car over a week now, so this is my first post - hello!
Are they easy to fit? I've seen a post about adding the function buttons but not one about changing the entire wheel. And will the volume buttons just work or will they need activating?
Cheers for any advice Smile

Hello

Doddle to fit, follow the guide on here on how to pop the whole wheel off, and yes the volume buttons work straight away.
No coding required for volume, but if you want cruise on your S its a bit of a job.

Thanks Marcus and Dave Smile that was gonna be my next question actually Smile is the cruise control doable? It'd be a shame to waste those lovely new steering wheel buttons!

S Cruise

It's a re-coding job, that's all it was on mine this morning. Thumbs Up

I thought it might need an aditional module, but with mine being 2011 stop/start, it only needs "speed control" turning on which my local did on his Autologic whilst I was having the towbar electrics coded.
What I don't know is, if this is also correct on the 2007-2010 FL2.

Cheap upgrade for me Mr. Green
