Ask yourself, would you pay the same money for a 13 plate vehicle as you would for a 14 plate one with the exact same spec and mileage? There’s your answer. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

Simple yes i would if it was the same model spec, this is why i was wondering if it would make much diffrence for the lr2 prices re the newer plates coming out as the last gen lr2 is such an outdated model? Yesturday i looked at a 2014 metropolis for £20,500 would it now today be worth 1k less? Hmmm Freelander 57 plate XS Blue Auto |

Yes it might be £1000 less, but your 57 plate XS will also be worth £1000 less |

You can check the price of any car on the Autotrader Website, you just need to enter its Reg Number and mileage, even if you don't own it. Then you choose the various buying and selling values.

I am not sure that the new plate phenomenon is as important as it used to be when there was only one change per year on the 1st August. I remember a Ford dealership that had midnight parties so that people could drive their new Mondeos home to have them on the drive before breakfast. Very sad 😢 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Still a few sad bunch like that up here. My local LR dealer does it twice a year! I avoid that dealer at all costs however.... MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior
