I have had a new clutch and DMF fitted today.
When i got the car back i took it for a test drive and found that the clutch pedal seemed to have nothing for the 1st 1/2 then the normal pressure. When i went to drive off it engaged so close to the floor i think i could pull away by bending my toe.
Is this normal with a new setup or is there an issue here.
On the front of what i believe is the gearbox so nearside front of engine bay there is a black small pipe going to a valve attached with another pipe connection on it. This now doesn’t have a pipe connected. Can anyone tell me if it should have one or not.
On another note i now have a lot more engine noise now coming from the drivers footwell. Under load i can hear the turbo and dump valve any ideas what this could be.

Does not sound correct, hope they used the correct parts for your car.

Noise may well be a missing / disturbed blank from bulkhead or around lower steering column area. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
FL2 MY13 TD4 GS Current

Thanks for the advise. You were correct the boot around the stealing Collin wasn’t fitted correctly.
Does anyone know if the unit in the pic supposed to have another pipe connected to it as it looks like it’s missing something. MY06 FL1 TD4 2 door red (gone)
