Download here took sbout 10 minutes - possibly because the servers will be busy at the moment - then install about the same again. Everything seems to work pretty much as before, with no nasty surprises so far. Jury is still out on the new app store though.

I got tasked with doing the family updates, and for once they all went smoothly. I get the job as if it all goes South its all my fault...

Anyone else’s Bluetooth turning its self on ? I know I have done it accidentally as I only use it when driving. Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!

If you turn bluetooth (or wifi) off in control panel it will turn itself back on at 5 am the following morning or when a number of other conditions are met. See this support document for details - https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208086

If you want BT or wifi to stay off you need to turn it off in settings.

I’ve found a bug with the Bluetooth! I have my iPhone set up to connect via Bluetooth when I am in my Evoque or when I am on my motorcycle with my Bluetooth helmet. It all works as normal - connects to both, plays music on both but when I receive a phone call, it rings only the phone and not in the car or helmet speakers. I can still accept the call as normal and speak/hear as normal apart from that. Roll on IOS 11.0.1. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

I rarely make phone calls on my mobile and don't bother pairing my iphone with the car but after the iOS 11 update yesterday I got a message after a short drive about not using the phone when driving and that I should disable calls. It obviously worked out that I was travelling. Apparently it is likely that insurance companies will start insisting that you disable calls and messaging on phones when driving and if you don't then they might not pay up in the event of an accident. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Another fault. Well, not a fault but a problem for me unless I type really slow. That damn new keyboard layout. If 8 tr6 to 5ype at anyth8ng like normal speed, I get those &uckin* symbols up!

Edit: A quick Google led me to the answer. Apparently, that new keyboard quirk is called 'Key Flicks'. You can disable it in keyboard settings. Thank for that! Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
