Can Copper Injector Seals/Washers leak diesel?

All 4 injectors have diesel around them, iv changed the copper seals and still the same, just wondering if diesel can blow back up the injector ports through the copper seals? grabbing at straws here having so many problems with my car, 07 Freelander, thanks in advance

No, it's not from the copper seals. The problem lies on the o-rings of the return pipes. Change them and all will be fine.

South Africa 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Fuji White

Hi folks,

I need to remove injector number 1, located at left end of fuel rail looking into engine as it's leaking very slow causing carbon builds.

I have found a seal and washer kit at the dealer to do the job but don't have clue.

I haven't found any YouTube or topix instruction.

Any tips appreciated, ideally step by step procedure.

It's a 2.2 SD4

I have the exact same problem. It seems the injector is stuck from the piston side? Possible carbon buildup?

Any suggestions to get the injector out?
