Just a thought have you checked the plastic trim In front of the screen to see if the drain holes are blocked up ? |

Thanks SYFL2... no, no blockages but thanks for the thought. Was wondering if there were any concealed filter areas / air-con sensitive bits that were under the dash near the spot where it fogs? Loath to tamper with the dashboard as I had to have it replaced last year after a front to back 10" split appeared over the passenger airbag area - (LR £500 "goodwill gesture" - + my £500 to fix) I love this old truck, but it's a bit like an old house, it sucks money. |

Condensing with AC on or off ? The AC drain pipe under the central console gets blocked and that is a good starting point to stop condensing. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Your advice was right on the button Yorky Bob...accessed the AC rubber drain via the footwell, all still connected, but a few squeezes while the AC was on it's coldest setting and running full bore and, voila, a sudden flood of water released for the drain, a dropping AC noise, normal draining resumed, and matter sorted. Thanks! |
