A video of the noise is at https://ufile.io/n54ry (couldn't upload to gallery?) - but you have to really listen for it due to the mobile phone picking up the road noise more! Note at least one of the rev drops was probably from reducing throttle due to other traffic. |

I believe the flexy hoses referred to are the brake lines at each wheel. Bob 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone) 08 FL2 TD4 SE Manual in Rimini Red (Now Gone) |

In case an update notification didn't fire, I updated my previous post with a link to the video. Any feedback valuable. Thanks all. |

Could you check and post again the link to the video? It seems that the original link is bad or expired...

Hopefully this is what I posted up - can you see the video? It does make the sound at least twice.
This is London, not easy! If I can, I will. Thinking about from engine backwards to wheels, is anyone able to point me to a simple schematic or list of the components involved please? Something like: engine, gearbox, PTU, front diff, driveshaft, haldex, rear diff? |

Lovely stuff Bob. Assume angle transmission = PTU and all-wheel clutch = haldex? |

By the way, that video of yours takes so long to download I gave up. (We don't have London BB speeds in the shires) Easier to put it on YouTube or Vimeo and just give us the link.

In the earlier part of the video that I cut off, the phone seemed to pick up more of the chah noise than I can hear. The video you saw contains what I can hear.
