United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

Lovely pair of Labs Jules. I would happily have a rescue dog but the local Lab Charity waiting lists are long and there is no guarantee you will get one, even after waiting. Great news that so many people are out there to provide a new home but frustrating when you are sat waiting for the phone to ring. Did you have to wait long?

No, about a week in each case - got them about 6 months apart from a small local place http://www.dun-roamin.com Jules

im considering a rescue spaniel to compliment/replace my ageing springer. She is 12 now with arthiristis in her back end but still happily plodding on.

Trouble is that I don't want her to feel pushed out if I get another one now so will probably wait until after her time is done.

but it will definitely be a rescue one as I don't have the time or job to deal with a pup now

I'm dog-less now, but years back our lab had gone to the "Great Kennel in the Sky" and our 11 year old Springer looked a bit forlorn and fed up. after 6 months we got 2 more Chocolate Lab pups and it was like someone had put a set of new Duracells in the Springer.
