Fundraiser

Guys, further to recent posts about my dads declining health, I'm doing a fundraiser for the John Eastwood Hospice who are taking good care of my dad in his last few weeks and months. We are having a cake sale at work and a spin relay followed by an event (specifics yet to be confirmed) at the fitness centre I go to. Any donations are very much appreciated Thumbs Up

Just bumped this topic because the day is closing in. With so many people fundraising all the time I know not everyone can but if you can spare a little bit of money then your donation will be very much appreciated.

My dad could have as little as 2 weeks left and the hospice has been fantastic.

Happy to support.

Best wishes to you and family at a difficult time.

Having lost my mother to Cancer some 4 years ago and with my father currently undergoing Chemo treatment I appreciate how much difference good care at this point can help the whole family at times like this.

Cheers Steve Thumbs Up I am pleased to announce that we have counted the cash takings from the collection buckets and cake sale at work which came to £432.

The grand total (so far) is therefore £1,217!

I will declare the total again early next week once the cash is handed over to the hospice and added to my JustGiving page. The personal trainer from the fitness centre I use is putting a small spin event on next Saturday to provide another boost.

We even got a tweet: https://twitter.com/derbyspolice/status/906091671552655361 LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby
