It's either going to be (A service or B service) till you get to 10yr service then it's morgage time or sell the car |

10 year service about £750 is what I paid from an independent Land Rover garage, I bought my car in December and got £500 knocked off for the impending timing belt etc |

£750 isn't too steep is it? I pay around £550 every 12K for my bike. |

I'll start saving now - mind you I have just returned from my independent garage (in Tatenhill) with our FL1 - 11 year service/MOT/anti roll bar drop links, front discs and pads, contribution to government @ £680 ... |

Its all about the previous 7 services and car history as a full B service could be a waste of money as you are doing so few miles. Use search to find the schedule sheet as it is on here. A LR dealer will tell you that you are at 8 years and sell a B service so that is what should be done as per the service sheet but at those miles it should be more about whats really needed not just a box ticking exercise costing silly money. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years FL2 MY13 TD4 GS Current |

I do relatively high mileage so prefer to get a B service done on mine every time. more expensive... yes.... but I don't see the point of just an oil change at that mileage and keeps the filters etc clean. plus it gets checked for any early fault symptoms more thoroughly.
