You reckon that's all it is? No as it would get fuel starvation when driving but if not done in years its worth doing along any other service items overdue. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Not a lot to go on. Maybe a more upmarket code reader could help.

I cured my reduced performance with the fuel filter change - hence my question!

So, plugged the car into a more advanced diagnostic and had 27 EGM codes! All were pointing to a faulty MAF sensor. So replaced that.

Bryn, I had exactly the same problem develop this week. Slight hesitation around 2000 revs. Also, started to hear not a hiss or whistle, but a soft "raspberry" under acceleration. Suddenly got a bit worse today, on way home of 40 mile round trip. Engine light came on, but no great performance loss. Had a look, and the hose into the inlet manifold, has a split about 1" long.

I had also the same problem, some exstra winding from the turbo at 1800_2000 rpm and using more fuel. Used" racing tape" over the split in the tube while i was waiting for the new tube and that was ok. Used some time to fit the new tube ! |
