United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey
Newbie to the freelander 2 group

Hi everyone have just become a proud owner of a freelander 2 HSE 2010 pick up tomorrow. Brought at trade price as the garage couldn't be asked to repair. So some advice please. If possible
Drivers seat works fine except won't go backwards and forwards, apparently works fine when the seat is removed motor is fine.

And the either item is near side back door won't unlock or lock from the remote. Will lock from inside and open any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance Alan. :

Hi and welcome

if the seat motor is working fine but the seat doesn't move when in place, IIRC there is a worm screw that rotates to move the seat... is this worm screw turning? (you can see it in the seat mounting rail) or is something blocking the seat underneath such as a coin or kids toy etc?

the door locks is a fairly common fault, its either the latch or the motor in the door. (plenty of threads on here about it and how to DIY fix) My 2013MY is back in to dealer next week to have 2 locks replaced under warranty.
