Fair point Taz but I was the wrong side of a load of wobbly juice. Embarassed

Anyways, don't drive around with anything disconnected. Its always needs sorting.

In your case MARANT23 you need to post with year, model, age, mileage and service history (thats not the wife). If you are high miles and the Haldex has never been serviced that would be a good starting point.

These babies need some TLC along the way just like any other vehicle, because it says LR on the bonnet (thats hood to you) it does not mean they are bullet proof and cheap to maintain as a Haldex service is going to set you back a few dollars but if you are keeping the car its money well spent.

I am sure Austen at Bell engineering in UK would be very happy to let you fly him over Razz to do it (haldex guru, look him up using search as he has posted lots of useful advice on drive train issues).

So all that said lets get back to worrying what your President if going to do next ! Nice PR man he has just appointed, is it a new high level diplomatic term using Censored sucker. Whistle FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

No, it will not affect the car in other way than becoming a front wheel (2WD) only driven car.
And of course, the message on the dashboard.
But keep in mind that the whole drivetrain, brake and stability systems were designed for a 4WD car.
So it will have sometimes a quite strange behavior. But if you drive it carefully it will go.
I will look into the matter if I would be you...
