Fitting the metal is easy.

You have an excellent car parking too close deterrent at the rear being a pro.

Marcusfordus, thank you, will look at P F Jones, looks like we have the not so straight forward electrics (59 plate FL2). |

Electrics aren't a problem, I fit a towbar to my 2007 and used the usual 7 way bypass relay without any problems.

mjtemple, thank you for your information, that's very useful, I think I will opt for a tow bar design that does not require removal of rear bumper/adaptation of bumper. |

there is no room to fit tow bar,as far as I could see anyway, without removing bumper, and believe me I like finding shortcuts!even if you can its a lot easier with it off. |

I fitted a Witter bar without removing the bumper or cutting anything - plenty of posts on here about it No Longer the owner of a 2013MY Fuji White GS

When I came to transfer my Witter towbar to my current FL2 it was quite corroded in parts - powder coating cracked and rust underneath - . Was no problem though; I took all the bits down to a local metal chemical stripping firm who chucked them in a tank of something nasty for a few quid - came back next day all beautifully cleaned - ready for me to paint with Hammerite. Had a Witter detachable on for 2 years now, no rust! Excellent piece of kit, on and off in seconds (not while the caravan is attached you understand) |
