Any iPad Pro users on here?
Just wondering about upgrading my iPad Air 2 for an iPad Pro. Main reason is the wife is getting fed up with her iPad mini 4 being a bit too small. She only uses it for browsing plus reading online magazines and she has to keep expanding each page as she opens them. She likes my one better. Rather than getting her a new iPad I was thinking of getting the Pro and letting her have my old one. Currently my old iPad is 128mb and I have 92mb free so a 64mb Pro model will be more than enough for me but the question I ask is is it worth paying nearly double the price of a standard iPad to get the pro? I know it's slightly bigger but do you actually notice much more difference in terms of speed, screen resolution or anything else or is it all just a sales gimmick? Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

would be interested to know the answer as well - missus wants an ipad but am considering giving her my old ipad air and investing in a new one, bit of a mine field, standard or pro and three different screen sizes to pick from...

I could be wrong here but I'm pretty sure John Bently on The Gadget Show sad something about the Pro not being worth the extra.

Looking about, the standard 9.7" iPad that is out now is a downgrade from the iPad air 2 that I have. Thicker and with a few bits removed. Still perfectly okay for what we would need at the moment but I am a bit of a sucker for the latest and greatest and any excuse to upgrade! If the wife didn't want my old one, I wouldn't even be considering it and of course the mini4 she has at the moment could be sold on. Maybe the 10.5" Pro is more than I need at the moment but should be pretty futureproof for a good few years. I think I need to take a trip to the Apple Store to have a look and a feel. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

I would go with the Pro 10.5, it does everything and as you say shouldn't date too quickly.

I'm using the mini 4 but thought about a bigger iPad but then I have an iMac as well, so not sure whether I need the bigger iPad. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

Well, it's up and running. Haven't really done anything on it yet but seems not a lot different from the old one. Camera is a lot better and it's slightly bigger. Anyway, wifey is pleased with my old one.
