Cheers Past master. I had thought about Evoque wheels although the offset is ET45 isnt it? Therefore the DEZENT TE wheels would be closer at ET48. If Evoque wheels dont cause any issues, however, then this probably answers my question I guess.

Yes, Evoque wheels are fine. The difference is so small as not to be noticeable. Not good to use FL2 wheels on an Evoque though, as there isn't quite enough clearance (but not your problem!) Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

Here winter tyres are mandatory. I bought a used set of Evoque 19" wheels and fitted Vredestein Wintrac 4 tyres. The standard 235/55 R19 fitment is a relatively high profile for a 19" rim and has performed well in quite severe conditions. driving on the right side |

Given the awful summer we are having in the UK I think there is a case for winter tyres all year round. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Quite a few people do run them all year round. I'd be tempted to do that on the Vredesteins as they seemed to wear very well. The main reason for winter tyres here is night-time and early morning driving, when winter temperatures (and sometimes summer too!) are usually below the magic 7 degrees C. You may want to look at Ford Mondeo wheels and Tyres ......... as Ford engineers designed the FL2, not Land Rover engineers. Most parts are a common fit when it comes to running gear. |

I imagine the Ford wheels are not designed to take either the weight of the FL2 or the stress of off-road driving. I would not be happy to chance it, and I suspect my insurance would not be either! Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

Thanks for all of the above. I gather ET45-ET55 offsets should do as a generic, the closer to ET55 the better?
