Yep spooky, considered one myself but plumped for the Golf GTi instead, might collect it tomorrow if they get the cherished transfer retainer sorted, wife runs the FL2 2.2TD4 GS, lovely motor. Boss at work put me off the mini cooper S, said it was a bit of a....darn't say it for fear of abuse. |

The same could be said of Discovery 3 and Range Rover Sport owners - there are many who have got Minis as second or third cars |

Martin which category do you fall into then? Are you a Defender owner who has a Mini, or a Mini Owner who also has a Defender? I think that as my 90 only does about 5000 miles a year compared to 10k a year in the RRS, that I am an RRS owner who also has a Defender, even though I have owned the Defender for longer than I've had the Sport. How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

I'm definitely a Defender owner who has a Mini, I've had the 90 since I was 16, and the Mini for less than 2 years
