Ive seen a few, though I may have been the same one whilst on my journey to and from work. I can't recall the colour to say if they were different cars, but it looked nice, incidentally, the new Jaguar E pace looks very nice too.

Saw a Velar in Callendar a few days ago - had to look twice - bit like a squashed RRS, I was surprised how big it seemed. Anyone remember the Mini Sprint ? (old style mini with about 4'' taken off the roof pillars) Bit like that. FL2 Ex D2, D3, RRS, etc. now all gone. |

Saw a D5 in Pitlochry parked up yesterday , had a good look at for about 10mins as my dog & I sheltered from the Scottish summer ... rain , it grew on me . I was standing looking at it from the rear 3/4 , in saying that , it was an HSE LUX, at about £70k it should be good looking. Do it now ! Your a long time dead !! |

The wide angles have made it look more hideous than it really is, the last picture reminds me on lightning McQueen

Like all current LR and RR ranges it's fine back to the B pillars, then it all goes horribly wrong. That back view is, indeed, awful. LR's designers are rubbish at rear ends! |

TBH its the only modern LR with a rear view I don't like.. the offset plate just looks weird IMO against the body work and glass angles. The D3/D4 rear end was infinitely better to look at. I like the rest though although it just looks like a beefier version of the DS or a taller version of the Velar... but you still have to look at least twice to work which one it is. |

I like it from the side, but the front and back I 'm just not sure about... |

Front and sides do it, but the rear sends my eyes dizzy. REME .. Rough Engineering Made Easy |

I see they're still plugging the same old line that it's as practical as the old one, when it just plain isn't!

Took my car into the dealers yesterday and had a look around the D5 , it's growing on me , the showroom had an HSE, nice cabin , nice seats .. a very nice place to be.
