I have the 2013 facelift TD4, I'd like to add the reversing camera (was it a cost option originally?)
What do i need to buy, original or OEM parts and i presume it has to be enabled in the software.

do you have the full screen display for stereo, nav, phone etc ?

or do have the basic head unit with the small screen ?

if its the small screen you wont be able to retro fit a reverse cam without a major amount of work and cost.

if you have the full screen with nav etc, then I think it can be done. StuartC (from down under) will be your man in the know as he is doing a ton of mods to his.

I do have the full screen with Sat Nav, no dvd drive either, it is the USB loaded one.

I also have rear parking Aid installed.

It looks like the wiring exists by default and after fitting the correct camera it just needs enabling in the software, i just need to know which is the right model camera to purchase.

I'd quite like to add front parking aid sensors at some time too

I have the 825w meridian system, I would guess the XS has the 380w meridian as standard.... Is there not a CD slot on the dash as this I where I can load a DVD disc and either play from there or store to HDD.

Good luck with the mods, im pretty sure StuartC is the best man to advise you on what is possible and how to do it.

except yours is a 2013MY car with HDD driven sat nav (update via disc or USB) and that advert is for up to 2011MY which was a disc driven set-up

I'm pretty sure that's the wrong one.
You need map update which is compatible with HDD IAM Gen 2.1.
