Well broke down last Friday new sender units fitted as it was decided when the fuel gauge was telling me a quarter of a tank left it was empty. Guess what fuel gauge quarter of a tank run out of fuel again. Breakdown guy comes out after some trying he bleeds as I have said then cracked off injectors to bleed there and it started but would only rev to 2500. It was showing dpf full drove it home15 miles stopped and left it for 1/2 hour restarted and now runs OK. But still needed fuel gauge sorting. This is officially joint leader in my worse landrover table. This is my fifth landrover Turn off your TV turn on your brain

Car has a saddle tank and it pumps fuel from one side to the other side of the tank so you could have fuel in there but with a failed pump its not going to hit injectors when low on fuel. Pretty sure a mod was done on this but too to say any more. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

You are correct. The garage fitted new sender units last week one of which is fitted to the fuel pump so new pump as well. Turn off your TV turn on your brain
