No, I agree the main array in the rear tailgate is the best bet.
The extra fin in the Evoque is just for telematics/3g reception. MY15

Plan "A" on the weekend was to mount the DVB-T/RSE module stack in the space occupied by the Satellite Radio Module in the NAS market......Wrong!

Soon after removing the inner boot lining realizing that the Keyless Vehicle Module was infact already mounted there along with a KVM sensor, DOH! Also realizing that there was already a module mount present and that obviously LR had changed the design and studs on MY13 onwards, bless their hearts Rolling Eyes and that LR007984 is neither suitable or required. I then spent a lovely time making myself comfortable in the rear spare tyre well (NOT) on a Censored cold day for an Aussie, was about 12 degrees Sad
Anyhow, after what felt like forever, sitting in my spare tyre well I managed to "Nut" out a way to achieve what I'd thought was going to be a straight forward day of mounting the modules. The final solution was to remove the KVM/Sirius Satellite Radio Module mount completely and mount the DVB-T/RSE stack directly to the studs already present using the DVB-T's mount. Most of the day was used to modify LR007984 to use as the mount for the KVM and sensor which will sit directly below the DVB-T/RSE stack. As all the studs for the original mount didn't match the DVB-T mount I had to come up with a way to secure using the available fixing points via the use of some aluminum strapping which I custom made. I also did a MkII version of the DVB-T/RSE stack which ultimately makes it a thinner dimension as there was a fairly generous amount of space between the two modules originally.
By 4pm I threw in the towel and put the car back together as the temperature and my back were just over it so will complete this weekend, weather permitting. But everything fits.....just!
Worthy of note is that there is plently of room between the inner wheel arch and inner boot linning next to each rear seat which funny enough is where LR mounts the RSE module in the Evoque. Rolling Eyes

Managed to complete what I couldn't last weekend and now the DVB-t/RSE stack is firmly secured in the rear of the car.
KVM and KVM sensor are in their new home below the module stack.

Started the wiring and DVB-T is now connected to the power/Gnd and the LVDS communication is connected between the DVB-t & RSE modules.
That's all I can do until I receive some more parts which should arrive this week.

The shades are from this company and they are extremely effective for our hot climate. I keep mine up all year round now, never bother removing them. They also come with a store away bag if you want to take them down for the colder month or two Whistle

Funny how you had to buy them from UK Laughing with a climate like ours!

Don't you find your limo tint that effective mate? Have you ever thought of going ultra limo on the rears at 2.5%? What percentage of tint do you have on your front drops ? MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

I have the darkest legal tint here in Australia and still find it burns. Any product that shades the interior is a bonus here and always remind myself how much nicer it is to have a solid roof even though I miss my sunroof in the last car. You really can't use a sunroof here in Summer unless you want heat stroke!

CVBS lines from the rear of car carrying the video signals to and from DVB-T & RSE are now connected to the Touchscreen. Green single Fakra carrying outgoing video signals to RSE module for use by rear passengers and Brown single Fakra carrying video feed from the DVB-T for front touchscreen.

MOST lines next and time to power up the modules. MY15

After a short delay due to bad weather and an operable roof with a broken control cord and a garage with an inch of water in it Rolling Eyes ..........managed today to complete wiring, conect to MOST network and power up the module(s).
No picture or scan-able stations as yet as I havn't connected the aerials which is the next step after I source a few small parts and this project will be completed.
So where as before I just had the option to select DVB-t on the touch screen, I now have a raft of other selections.
