Did you deadlock the car ? (twice press the lock button). Cars can seek equipment like mobile phones on Bluetooth when not fully locked

4 weeks is asking a bit much, dissconnect the battery before you go,and leave the brake off or it might stick on,i get this a lot doing roadside rescue.discharge should be no more than 0.4 amps, with a 70 amp hr battery some clever chappy on here can work out how long at that discharge rate before the battery gets below 11.5 volts, causing non start. |

If you are going to leave the car unused for weeks/months on end your best bet is to invest in a C TECK battery conditioner |

I have invested in a Ctek mxs10 as I have to keep a 140 amp battery up to scratch on my boat so the FL battery is fully recharged. The battery should be fine for well longer than the 5 weeks my other car certainly has never been a problem and it was no problem with the original battery. No issues with lights however, I am now setting to deadlock as suggested. I have metered the earth lead and it appears fine the initial reading is .4A and slowly drops away to virtually nowt so I suspect a dodgy battery but I guess I will have to keep checking. The issue I have is that the firm I got it from ABS batteries will only consider it faulty if it fails a Kwik fit or ABS battery test. I guess unless another auto tech certificates it as duff |

Had battery problems since getting this car. Warnings on screen, to not sufficient juice to even turn the engine over.

You don't give enough detail in your description of how severe the drain is for example close car at night and next morning it won't start. You say you've had no battery power to start in the mornings, was that from overnight or days parked?

I got a power pack from Costco wouldn't be without it so handy for tyre pressures and I've helped 3 people out with flat batteries it's never failed. |

Ok, battery flat overnight again. Have arranged to get this sorted (hopefully) by the local dealership (again).

It's not a cure and I can't say they work or not. Anyone tried them?
