I am thinking I will keep mine till at least 150k miles which is four to five years. I reckon that way I and not someone else, will get the benefit of having the Haldex serviced and changing the ATF etc and I wont have bought another vehicle which was sold because it has had so many things wrong with it. How many times do we see on this forum, owners who have sold to the trade because of faults and breakdowns on quite young vehicles

The wife's just spent £1000 on her 07 plate as she couldn't justify sticking a chunk of cash and hers for something that may require money spending on it . In the 4 years she's owned the car it's had a front wheel hub/bearing , a set of GG At tyres , discs and pads all round and the timing belt and water pump replaced , it's just had the noisy Grabbers replaced with Michelin latitude cross tyres which are a better tyre by a long way , all the shock absorbers have been replaced with quality Kyb ones and it's had the 10 year service done . The car drives fantastic and has now covered nearly 139k , So it's pretty much sorted for a few years , then what ?? A late Fl2 or a Ds ?
