I have bought Hella Luminator Compact xenon auxiliary driving lights. Hella didn't have a mounting bracket for Freelander 2 so they shipped a universal bracket. It's the kind that you mount behind the registration number plate. I called a dealer to ask if it could cause any problem as you have to drill holes in the bumper. He didn't give a really clear answer though. Is it anyone on the forum that has mounted such a bracket? Or if not, anyone who has dismounted the bumper and knows what is behind? |

Thanx for the tip npinks I've printed it out and will have a good look at it. Also found manual for fitting LR original auxiliary driving lamps. I'll have a look at that and see if any good info to draw from. Saw that you get an original LR switch for those lights. Thinking I might hear with my dealer if the switch is sold separately. It will probably look better than the one from Hella.
