My Roadhawk dashcam is getting glitchy and is on its way out. I have noticed the blackvue range but are they more expensive because they are the be all and end all of cameras or can you buy just as good for less?

Had mine for around 5 years, still going strong, although pricey, worth looking around as I think there are less expensive alternatives. |

I'll do some more digging on the F770. I can't ignore the lens and picture quality just because the app is apparently crap.

Well after much research including YouTube videos and reading many reviews (the vast majority turned out very positive), I decided to purchase a Thinkware F770 from Chameleon and opted for the hard wire version.

Agreed, good choice, the Thinkware kit seems to perform really well.

my f750 with F770 firmware does this, I have a check round the car, no dings and delete it the next time it askes, simple press of the format button on the unit when it asks Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

Well I am pleased to say the engineer has just left having installed it for me. Such a neat job with all the cable tucked away behind the roof lining! No more of this 12v cable with clips (backed up by blu-tack when it's hot) |

What do you make of this Nick? I know the benefits of polarised lenses from my sunglasses and in theory the problem in my test video should be solved or at least reduced by this. Bit pricey just for a small lens though.
